Penguin Heist is a chaotic local co-op twin-stick shooter where players take on the role of two penguin-brakers who rob a casino. To pocket as much cash as possible, they'll have to shoot at anything that moves while breaking into safes to get out bags of cash.

Gamefeel
Dynamic Splitscreen
The screen splits if the two players are far enough apart and orientates itself according to the position of the two players. The bar separating the players also thickens as their distance increases.
OPEN CHESTS AND CARRY BAGS
The core mechanic for winning games is to open the chests by spamming an input to raise as much money as possible, which can also be done by two players to go much faster. When a player is carrying a bag, he can't shoot and so it's up to his team-mate to cover him.
Destructible environment & melee attack
Integration of the entire pipeline according to melee attack mechanics. The challenge here was to homogenise the behaviour of the environment with an emphasis on gamefeel.
Every assets used in the game has been produced by our Game Artists.
